Mediterranean, Atlantic, and Indian Ocean

Italian submarines were still being used for anti-submarine exercises. During the month, some 154 exercise sorties were carried out off Alexandria, Brindisi, Colombo, and Naples, but mostly at Taranto, Port Everglades (Florida), and Guantanamo (Cuba).
